Virus spreads using Google

The terrible thing about service oriented architecture is that clever people use your services in ways you never anticipated.

Google also gets to realize that everyone targets the leader. This is leading to an interesting pattern. Technologies that are not currently the leader don't need to focus as much on security because they aren't targetted nearly as much as the leader in an arena. However, once you become the leader, the number of attacks you face goes up exponentially. The company then goes through a period of denial and thinks it doesn't really have a security problem, and then eventually realizes that it does, and decides to get serious about security.
