Tech Blender Report - 2004.11.18
A few big announcements in the blog-o-sphere today, and some minor ones (I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader to decide which is which, or whom is what, as my English teach used to say).
Indigo Day at the Fair: 3 Leaf points to a whole day of new Indigo stuff that's coming for VS Live.
Did something light a fire under IE?: There might be updates to the browser pre-Longhorn.
Now we're not the kind to go around spreading rumors: But apparently spdrivers is. Hee-haw.
ASP.NET 2.0 has a change of heart: Brian Goldfarb code-behind (instead of code-inline in the .aspx) will now be the default.
It's only a matter of time: before people start demanding the daily builds of .NET/VS. As I plod through the install of VSTS, I can't help but wish I could just download VPCs of beta products.
Your Window(s Form) on the World: Portals trending towards Smart Client. I think so.
Roring on the floor, laughing out loud: I'm just getting around to reading this now. Holly crap, that's funny. Rory, thanks again for being considerate enough to stay alive and not miss another engagement. I had a great time chatting with you.

Beware the spdriver site, I got a warning that popups were blocked, several blocked installer messages and several virus warnings from McAfee. Now I'm showing pacman installed on my machine and some funky cashback icon in the system tray.
